Dr. Saba Senses-Ozyurt
Dr. Saba Senses-Ozyurt is a professor and program director in the California School of Management and Leadership at Alliant International University. She received her Ph.D. in political science and political psychology from the University of California, Irvine. Before joining Alliant University, she has taught at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) , the University of California Irvine (UCI), and Chapman University. She was a visiting research fellow at the Center for Comparative Immigration Studies (CCIS) at University of California, San Diego, at the European Research Center on Migration and Ethnic Relations (ERCOMER) at Utrecht University, and at the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies (CGPACS) at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Senses-Ozyurt’s research focuses on the impact of non-governmental organizations, political processes and public policies on the rights and empowerment of women, minorities, and immigrants into pluralist societies. Her research is published in some of the leading academic journals such as Political Psychology, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Journal of Organizational Theory and Behavior, Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership, Journal of Management and Leadership, and Perspectives on Politics. She is currently an active member of the World Council on Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI), which is a consultative NGO to the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women
